Minehoff MCC - Scotland

On the way back from the Trachop Rally in Germany we headed to the Minehoff MCC Rally in Haddington, East Lothian.  We got of the boat at 6.30 am in the morning, absolutely knackered and 463 miles later we arrived at the rally field.  On the way up poor Snig got a flat back tyre on the Harley and it was a costly night for him.  The rally field was packed for the Friday night and they had a 500 limit on the gate most of who already seemed to be there.  Daryl Trixxxter had come over to meet us with a few of his friends as well and we were to meet with the Quay Vipers but they didn't arrived until well after 11 when they did a tour of the rally field and then were ushered to a camping space.  Tents up everyone had a few drinks, I was really tired after the long ride and headed to the tent early on the Friday, only to be woken by Susie Viper round 5ish in the morning with her jeans in shreds thanks to vodka and barbed wire!  On the Saturday morning we headed for brekkie in Haddington and then to the local swimming pool for a shower, then into Tesco for a carry-out and back to the rally.  They announced their trophies early on the Saturday evening and I was pleased to win Longest Distance Female and it was an extremely nice trophy.  Headed off on the Sunday morning round 10ish to catch the 3 o'clock ferry but we managed to get split up on the roads and only William and I got there on time, Philip got the next one and Snig the one after 8.  All in it was a good 16 days away, altho tiring and I was pleased to see the sign for Eglinton.  but thankfully everyone had a safe trip!
