RALPH
Ola Senors & Senoras
I have always loved bikes and as a young lad hanging round Castlederg town centre on Sundays years ago (well not that many years ago) I would watch the bikers gather to head off on a run somewhere and wished I was able to go. I eventually gathered together enough cash to buy an old off road trials Suzuki 250RM which i had a lot of fun with.
After leaving school I got away from bikes and followed in my families tradition of cars and rallying for many years. Eventually after meeting Terry McHugh who reintroduced me to the biking scene, I attended a few rock nights and rallies, as a non-bike owner, which was great and all that, but after I went to the Dogleap Rally '06 as a pillion with Terry I got my eyes opened to how a person on a bike is accepted within the fold of biker brotherhood, so the next day I went out and bought my first road bike (a Suzuki Intruder M800) and also started attending club meetings where upon I eventually earned my club patch which I am proud to wear. I have never looked back since joining the club and bike scene and I have made many good friends as a result and look forward to meeting many more.
In January '09 I changed up to a Suzuki Intruder M1800, which I currently ride. I really enjoy going to the rallies with the club especially when we ride as a group, and I enjoy meeting up with old and new friends to have a wee drink or two while listening to good rock music and conversation, in between the odd snooze of course!!!!!!!
Anyway guys and gal
Keep it real, keep it safe, keep it between the ditches and I'll see you all on the road somewhere sometime.
Adios Amigos
