Trachops MC - Germany

4 of us headed of to the Trachop MC Rally in Grossbeuden about 20 miles outside of Berlin.  We sailed from Dublin to Holyhead and we stopped overnight in Chester where we met a few bikers who were attending a biker wedding and they made us very welcome and sorted us with accommodation in a local pub.   Then down to Harwich for the overnight sailing to the Hook of Holland.  We stopped in Amsterdam and then Hanover on the way down to the Rally.  The welcome that we received from the Trachops and their supporters was amazing, we arrived on the Thursday night when they were getting ready for the rally.  As it was their 10th anniversary they were expecting a larger crowd than usual and they weren't disappointed they had over 1100 people attend.  We were pleased to receive the trophy for longest distance and Snig gets keeping this one!  On the Sunday night the Trachops accompanied us to a Greek restaurant with lots of ouzo to celebrate Snig's "birthday".  All in all a great rally, great company and a great MC club.  We have never received hospitality like it anywhere else and hopefully we can return it in the future.
