Trixxxters French Holiday

Six patch members decided to head to France for 16 days touring, Dessie, Grace, Philip, Snig, Catherine and William.  We sailed straight to Roscoff and within 3 minutes of getting of the boat had managed to get lost, but sure that's all part of the fun.  We biked down to La Rcohell, Sable d'onnes, Lucon (we actually managed to travel through Lucon at least 5 times, 4 of which were in error!) St John de Monte, Lorient and all round the Vendee region.  We spent a lot of our time looking for Irish/English types of restaurants and got totally obsessed with finding somewhere that served potatoes, we were also reduced to eating 3 and 4 happy meals at a time as we had vouchers for buy one get one free (tight or what).  Anyway it was an experience, I don't think I would rush back to do France again, its quite expensive and the people are not as welcoming as the Germans, so back to Germany for 2006.  The main thing was we went away with a good group of friends which definitely made the holiday relaxed (95% of the time) and enjoyable.
